PS3 System 80GB - (CECH-E01) Backwards Compatible

My problems started right when I opened the box. The console sustained a terrible impact on the front side from not being packaged in anymore than a thin layer of “bubble wrap” if it could even be called bubble wrap. The console had barely any protection. Very sad. A boarderline collectors item ruined because of poor packaging. There was also a strange residue all over the exterior of the console. I do not blame Lukie for that. I’m sure the prior owner was to blame. I was able to wipe down the entire console and made it look pretty good! Then I tried to play some games.. Some games work fine but others are just too much for the console to handle. Half a lap on Motorstorm and goodnight. Overheats. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. For what I paid I thought it would’ve been thoroughly tested and packaged BETTER. The warranty seal on the side is still in tact which I guess is a positive. Still going to keep it for ps2 backward compatibility, just not too certain about the lifespan.

I received this system yesterday and it works great. I haven’t tried to ps2 or ps1 in it yet though.

I received this today, and haven't had a chance to hook it up and try it out yet, but this PS3 looks like it just came out of the factory packed box, brand new! I will amend my review later after taking it for a spin, but for now I didn't think there was PS3's out there that still looks this great. I could have bought one cheaper from other sources, but it wouldn't have looked half as well kept, nor would it have had a one year warranty. That makes the difference when you buy from Lukie!

I ordered this as a birthday present for my husband. The first one I received, the SD card reader did not work. Which was the entire reason he wanted this system. I contacted customer service and received a replacement today. This one is even worse. ITS CRACKED UP. It looks awful. When we first turn it on it makes a horrid sound. Then a message displays the PlayStation is over heating. The controller doesn’t work. It’s over all the purchase I’ve ever made. And it irritates me that I received not one, but two systems that were absolute garbage. I will never order from here again. I paid too much money for something that doesn’t work. They claim to test their systems but obviously they don’t. I found the problems within 30 seconds or opening the box. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

Wow!! Super impressed with Lukie Games. Not only could I find a legit PS3 Backwards Compatible (emulator) for a reasonable price, but it was flipping brand new. I couldn't believe it when I opened the box. Not a scratch!! Everything was in mint condition controller and all! YES! Works like a charm and I got it on time. Lukie Games is my new best friend. I collect older games hence my need for an all in one console for PS, PS2, and PS3 games. Im putting my list together now Lukie so watch out ;)

The PS# is a great piece of technology. Not only am I able to play the PS3 games I bought, but I'm also able to watch great new movies, like the new Star Wars movie from the PS3 in HD. It was well worth the money. A piece of advise. Don't try to buy a PS3 online, because you don't know what you're getting. Buy from dependable Lukies Games.
