Good Game, Good Customer Service
The game is a spiritual successor to the previous console generations "Hulk: Ultimate Destruction". The idea of being able to destroy anything and everything is taken to extremes as one plays Alex Mercer, a man altered and given powers, hunting to find out what happened to him and fine those responsible. It's fast-paced action where one truly plays the monster. This isn't a game where the player is encouraged to be "good" and careful. The game centers around carnage and destruction, with civilian lives little more than a statistic as Alex runs around, absorbing (effectively, eating) people, to obtain their memories, to replenish his health, for player whim, or whatever else.
The very basics of the story are given through cut scenes as one would expect, though there are dozens and dozens of optional people to absorb whose memories flesh the plot out and give it more substance. Those people aren't easy to find, and they are all too easy to accidentally kill.
Over all it's a game meant for catharsis and base enjoyment.
Now, the customer service of Lukie Games comes in because the disc I'd originally received was faulty. I contacted Support and they responded incredibly quickly. They worked with me to resolve the issue to my satisfaction, and got a replacement disc shipped out lickety-split. Service like that is why I'm a loyal customer.
