Resident Evil, the game that is often credited with starting the survival-horror genre, is being reinvented for the GameCube. You are part of an elite military unit battling an out-of-control supercomputer. Sent to investigate a remote location, you discover an eerie old mansion transformed by a laboratory accident. Players take the role of either sharpshooter Chris Redfield or demolitions expert Jill Valentine to track down the source of the town's problems--specifically, something in a decaying mansion that's mutating animals into grotesque killers and turning humans into bloodthirsty zombies. Soon, you're fighting for survival against hundreds of mutated scientists and other ghoulish creatures.

Love this version of the original. Also bought it to complete my GC collection of all the RE games for it. Thanks Lukie for making it easy and fun to get retro games.

This is how you remake

This has to be my favorite version of re1. Everything is finely tuned compared to is predecessor. Spencer mansion has changed a bit so that might throw off older players new to the remake but what we lost in overly simplistic puzzles we got back in off hand defensive weapons, a complete graphics overhaul and a pretty handy storage box glitch regarding duped grenade rounds ;)

The beginning of true horror

the first Resident Evil is by far my favorite and had a tone of fun playing it with a friend when I was younger. Now I can relive the nostalgia. The whole game (manual, disk,case) look new, I tried once to by a game online that was not from LukieGames and I got a fake game that didn't work and when the seller resend me another copie to replace it, it was again a fake game that didn't work. Moral is, I only by my games on lukiegames now :)

Lukie is great! The game is too!

I order this and another game. Upon delivery disc 1 of Resident Evil was incorrect as it had disc 1 of RE Zero. I called Lukie and they immediately apologized and replaced and reshipped it. They even kept the 2 day shipping I bought! They were very eager to fix the issue. I have since received my replacement and I couldn't be happier. The discs were in PERFECT condition as always. There are no worries with Lukie.

Old times

Loved this game when it first came out. So, to say that this was a trip down nostalgia lane was an understatement. Lukie Games is the best. Package arrived quickly and the game was in amazing shape. Basically brand new. Thanks guys!

First off, amazing delivery time. Everything I've ordered has arrived on time, if not sooner. games man

The controls are a pain in the ass. But the game is very fun. It's the perfect balance of game flow and navigating the lame controls. It's an older game, but if you're a Resident Evil fan, or Silent Hill fan, Lukie's game is perfect; will keep ordering.

Damn right

They got it just right. The two levels of difficulty are well-balanced. They incorporated many new elements of gameplay and the map isn't exactly the same, so it still has is share of surprises for those who have played the original. I recommend it to everyone!

Finally get to play this!

I got the game in very good condition and I can't wait to play it when I finish "Resident Evil 0". It arrived fast and I'm impressed for regular shipping and handling. Thanks a lot for having this game in your library to sell, and for the gamecube is a plus.

This is how a remake should be done. Capcom did a very good job with the new additions. While it is difficult to go back to tank controls since the improvements, it's still a great game.
