San Francisco Rush 2049

I'm a sucker for racing games like this. Didn't own this back then but it was in the arcade I went to. Playing it on console is just as fun take my word for it. I played this so much in the arcade I swear I could smell the pizza again. If you love top speed cars and exploding cars I'd recommend this.

On the Dreamcast, there are the iconic racers (Sega Rally, Test Drive, among others) and there are arcade racers (Pod, Crazy Taxi, etc.) I have always liked Dreamcast's stable of racing games, mainly because I enjoy using the analog stick to steer, which wasn't always there on the PS1. Rush 2049 is no exception. It's a fast-paced racer with over-the-top physics and a good response time for twitch-fun racing. I have enjoyed the Rush games since their debut in the arcades, and this version is close to arcade perfect as could be done in the Dreamcast's generation. It's very colorful and "futuristic" in the vein of all those classic racers you find on this generation's consoles. It's an arcade racer with a few unique elements that don't detract from the fun. Highly recommended for fans of arcade racing games.

The game is classic. Even though it’s nearly 20 years old it’s still a blast to play. 100% happy with my purchase
