Sonic and Tails are back for another adventure as they again battle the evil Dr. Eggman (AKA Dr. Robotnik), who is desperately trying to collect all the Chaos Emeralds in order to rebuild his Death Egg. Our heroes must find the Chaos Emeralds before Dr. Eggman does, but winning the race won't be easy -- a new adversary, Knuckles the Echidna, has arrived on the scene and will do whatever he can to keep Sonic and Tails from reaching their goal. Sonic 3 is a classic must have for any Genesis owner. It's awesome when combined with Sonic & Knuckles!

Mega Hits Version

I did not specifically order the Mega Hits version (I don't think anyways), but that's the one I received. I know that the MH copy is worth less than the original release, so I was a little bit taken aback that I didn't get the version I thought I was ordering. However, game tests great and works! I'm happy I have it!

Sonic the Hedgehog 3

It works at first but it gets stuck it doesn't allow me to play it keeps getting stuck I have to always restart it's not fun like that so I haven't been able to enjoy it that much

Very good, but not excellent

Sonic 3 is a great game, but I consider it the weakest in the main series for the Genesis / Mega Drive. In my humble opinion, the main reason for this is the presence of unbalanced levels, with some excellent ones mixed with others only good. The direct sequence of this game: Sonic & Knuckles did better in my opinion. Now, it is undeniable that the combination of the two games using Lock-On technology (Sonic 3 & Knuckles) is something really special and worth checking out for any Sonic fan.

Good condition, Not expected

This is the first complete game I've ordered from LukieGames and I'm pretty impressed. Not only is the cartridge in great condition but the box is in pretty good condition too. My only problem... The version I got wasn't what I expected. I was expecting the hardbox version of the game, the original one. I got the Mega Hit Series version that comes in a cardboard box. With I knew what I was buying exactly before I purchased it

Pretty much perfect

The cart had a few scratches as its normal but nothing bad in terms of damage and the cart itself worked flawlessly
