Difficult but fun old school beat em up.

If you love Marvel comics and video games this game is perfect. Released in the mid 90s for the Genesis and SNES, it is generally looked at as a cult classic now. Great beat em up with awesome combo maneuvers. Fantastic graphics for its time with beautiful sprites. The difficulty progresses at a steady pace, but the game play is so addictive. Last, but not least, this game has one of the best soundtracks in '90s gaming as provided by rock band Green Jelly.

It's pretty standard fair. You get to beat up punks and crawl and swing as Spiderman! It's fun, and worth playing over and over. Really enjoy it!

This game is a decent side scrolling beat 'em up. The graphics are not as amazing as the Streets of Rage series but are not bad in their own way. The Spider man theme is what sets this brawler apart from others. If you enjoy the webslinger then you should get a good amount of fun out of this game. Personally I like the pick up and play quality of these type of games. There is no way to give this game 3 1/2 stars so I will give it a solid 3.
