Set in SD 772, four hundred years since the climactic battle with the Ten Wise Men, humans and aliens now co-exist together in both advanced and less-developed societies, as the Galaxy Federation continues to research the cosmos to gain more influence in Space. The story begins as Star Ocean's protagonist, Fayt Leingod, brings his family and childhood friend, Sophia Esteed, to the Federation-managed resort planet Hyda for a vacation, but the dreamy holiday is abruptly ended when Hyda is attacked by an unknown space military. Star Ocean overflows with action, exploration, fast-paced combat and an intricate plot, which results in an immensely deep gaming adventure. Character development is versatile and open-ended, allowing for true freedom in character growth through battle.

A great series

This series starts on SNES. If you like RPGs then you have to play every game in this series.

Good service

Game came complete in box as advertised. It arrived in only a few days, as expected. I have no complaints about my purchase. Lukie games continues to be my go to online source for classic games when my local vintage game shop doesn't have the item I want in stock. They haven't let me down yet.

Personal Favorite

I have loved this game for YEARS now and I used my points to redeem it this time. The points system is awesome. My game was disc only but it did come in a clear cd case with a 2 disc holder. The discs themselves look great! No scratches and they play perfectly. This game is absolutely worth checking out if you're into JRPG's (and have a lot of time to devote) but as always, great condition and have had absolutely no problems thus far.

Awesome

So, I recently bought this game. It arrived on time an in great condition. The only issue I might be having is that it seems to be lagging pretty early in the game, Pisotto Forest. Not sure if it's my console or the game, but that will require further testing. Still, the game was immaculate. Thank you Lukie Games!

I love this game. ive been wanting to replay it for a while, and its still as fun as I remembered. plus I was satisfied with my experience with lukie games. I had never used them before, but they shipped my game on time, it arrived shortly, and in good working order. I would definitely recommend star ocean till the end of time, and lukie games
