Really Good Star Wars Game
I bought this thinking it would be an average Star Wars port but i quickly changed my mind as i got more into it. The cutscenes are kinda terrible, but i'm sure for their time they looked pretty good. That being said, the gameplay is super addictive. It's sort of weird to explain, but this game reminds me of the Half-Life series in that at certain moments you need to figure out what to do in order to advance and it gets interesting as you figure stuff out. As you progress further into the game, you unlock/pick up different weapons and items, which you can then use and it adds a nice variety to the gameplay. You also have the option to use the lightsaber and force abilities. While this is a port from the PC and the controls are kinda limited, switching items and force powers is the biggest drawback i found while playing because you have to hit up on the d-pad, which gets frustrating when you're trying to both switch force abilities and move at the same time. It's hard to do both while fighting an enemy and it can cost you some health in the end. You can however map your 2 favorite weapons to the black and white buttons on the Xbox controller, which is a pretty cool feature. Another big plus this game has going for it is the multiplayer mode with bots, which is really fun to try if you need a break from the story mode. Overall, this is a pretty solid Star Wars game.
