Really hard review too write...
KOTOR 2 is in many ways an amazing game.
The story, gameplay, and (for its time) graphics are all top notch, and it is a very enjoyable experience.
This experience is somewhat offset by a few things however.
1. This game uses almost the exact engine from KOTOR1, yet somehow manages too have millions more bugs/glitches. This game has crashed my XBOX more times then I can count, and well that is excusable in a PC game, where no two systems are the same, on a home console, that is just sloppy. (I bought the XBOX version because my PC refuses to run it, despite having no problems with the first one and being able too play much newer stuff like Dragon Age:Origins on maxed settings with no slowdown or issues too speak of.)
2. There is an absurd amount of missing content. I understand the game was rushed, and that Obsidian is owned by bethsda, who are in turn owned by ID, and that there corporate policy doesnt have room for quality control, but I REALLY wish they would have atleast done a better job of cutting content.
Currently there are missions/quests in the game that are totally unbeatable, and choices you can make that will set you on plot paths that make it impossible too complete the game. This effectively means that...
3. You NEED a guide.
In addition too the cut content and bugs that will break your game, most of the tooltips in this game lie, or at least omit information. All in all this is a minor complaint, but it does break the immersion.
