Suikoden V

Game box and manual were in great condition, disk was perfect, thanks!

There was only one copy of the complete version left and I bought it. A bit pricey but worth it for a collectors item and a playthrough. Looks like a great RPG and it arrived in like new condition.

Konami had a masterpiece in its wake when they released Suikoden. The game itself was formed of a group of 108 characters who were linked together by having been born Under the sign of the 108 stars of destiny. The quest upon which McDohl and his protagonists embark have since then been followed by may new opuses each more developed in the graphics and animation department, but the soul of the series is best demonstrated by the original. Learning that your allies can accidentaly be fataly wounded during the war scenes if your team if caught by an attack against its weakness and the level of the character is too low, for example : Luc and Sheena both perished on my first try of the battles against the crazy dandy psycopath with carnivorous plants crawling all over his castle... The second game in the series had the same kind of interface and then the 3rd instalment of the series changed the franchise drastically. All I can say bout Suikoden V for the moment is that the fans have praised its return to source material gameplay-wise... still haven't managed to get my hands on it, and it's definitively on the top 10 list of "RPGs We should play"
