Test Drive 4

Couldn't wait to play this game again. Arrived in perfect condition - thanks, Lukie! It's been twenty years since I last played Test Drive 4, but I still remembered the tracks. Great graphics for the time. My brother and I used to spend hours trying to top each other's times. He came rushing over after my game arrived to renew the rivalry! My wife just rolled her eyes. My only complaint - then and now - is that there isn't a true 2-player experience. The only mode in 2-player is a "Ghost Challenge" where you race individually, trying to outpace the "ghost" image of the player who just raced. We're uber-competitive, so we still enjoyed it, but it means someone always has downtime. We prefer the single-race mode, just trying to beat each other's times, as this mode introduces 5 computer-controlled opponents, slow-moving traffic, and police pursuit. Another fine product from Pitbull Syndicate (if you have not played their "Demolition Racer", you are missing out on one of the greatest games ever made)

The nostalgia with this game is very strong with me. I grew up playing this when I was little. Its a great racing game for the ps1 that will keep you entertained for hours upon hours. There is some kind of magic with these older games that I just cant get with modern ones. I highly recommend lukie games to anyone looking retro games at a good price.

Test Drive 4, it's a necessary in any collection, but, have a little options compared Test Drive 5 ! A Classic game!
