Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness

The game arrived, as always, in perfect condition. As for the game itself? Not my favorite Tomb Raider title. It's definitely a bit harder and a departure from the series in many ways. But it does tell a unique story among the franchise and provides quite a lot of challenge. I'm not sure I'd recommend it for anyone other than the hardest of tomb raider fans, however.

Solid game. A slight departure from the previous 5 PS1 Tomb Raider games. Fun game if you can get past the RPG elements. The tour of the Parisian underworld is a far departure from tomb raiding.

Now this is a tomb raider game i like, i played other TR games before but i could never get my head around them. My favorite TR game is the first one on ps1, but this one just might beat that one i doubt it. This game reminds me of shenmue and resident evil code veronica, but in a tomb raider fashion. This TR game is darker then other TR games with a dark story too. I love how lara evolves kinda like cj from gta san andreas. The fighting system is sweet and the controls are great. In the end this is a fantastic game, even if the tomb raider name was not on the cover. This game gets a 5 out of 5 stars just like the back of the box shows. Thank You.......

I remember playing this game in high school and I wasn't very good at it. But when I saw it online I just had to have it. Not to mention the price was great. Maybe this time around I can actually finish the entire game.

Love The Dark Story Of It

Chances are, if you like the original Tomb Raider game. Or any of its numerous sequels. Then you will like this game as well. The storyline is just as capturing as all the others and it still has basically the same gameplay. The only difference is the console (PS2 not PS1). However if you are looking for a Tomb Raider game that has better gameplay then the original Playstation Tomb Raider's, then this is not the game you're looking for. I'd try any of the ones later in the series (Underworld, Legend, Anniversary [Remake of original Tomb Raider], or even the upcoming self-titled Tomb Raider game). This game is definitely overlooked but its also a steal for the price.
