Toy Story

The game came exactly how I remembered the original Sega cartridge. The shipping was super fast! There were no issues with the game at all I will definitely be buying more from Lukie!

Toy Story (for Genesis) is mostly a sidescrolling platformer (with other features like the RC level breaking that mold) that follows the events of the movie. After I was reminded of this game's music, it occurred to me that I've never beaten it... Sure enough, the game is deceptively hard (certain moving hazards are designed to be tedeously difficult) and I have only made it to level 6 or so. Graphics are pretty impressive for the era when this released, with an emphasis on giving set objects 3D-like shape and lots of character animation on the prerendered sprite graphics. The cartridge worked intermittently at first. There were some cotton fibers stuck to the pins from whenever it was last cleaned. It worked better after those were removed, on my Retron 5 and my Retrode (did not test original console). Shipping was fast enough and selection was great, so I would buy from Lukie Games again. I suspect this is one of those games that is unforgiving to compensate for how short the content is, but I don't regret picking it back up.

Lots of memories with this game! I remember playing it on my computer when I was a kid. Game is in very good condition and shipping was fast too!

Great game was a little worried it would not work as it has a rattle when you shake it I plugged it into my Sega and black screen ?? but after taking the game out and blowing on it it worked perfect very happy ??

The game works so well! It really takes me back to my childhood. It is such a great way to pass time. Definitely recommend it and Lukiegames! Thanks lukie games!

i purchased this game for my daughter. shes a toy story fan. i couldnt believe the graphics. pretty good.. for the 16bit cartridge era.
