Warriors

I remembered renting The Warriors from Blockbuster back in the day and it becoming one of my favorites on the PS2, so I thought I'd revisit it. Character movements are a little clunky and the fighting - which is what the game centers around - can feel repetitive, but overall it's still a fun experience. The main draw is for fans of the movie wanting more storyline. It all justifies this game retaining its original price.

My husband made me watch "The Warriors" movie when we first started dating and it became a funny anecdote in our relationship. When I bought a PS2, I started gathering up my favorite games from college (mostly Rockstar Games), and my husband hipped me to the fact that Rockstar Games created a Warriors video game for PS2! I bought it from Lukie Games and it's been sweet love ever since. It's likely one of the best movie to game adaptations that I have ever seen. I am more of a retro gamer, but "The Warriors" on PS2 is incredibly fun. The graphics are amazing - they really pay homage to the scenery from the movie. The missions are super creative, and I love how it is mostly a prequel to the movie. Wonderful game whether you like the movie or not.

It's been a known fact that most games based after movies can be down right terrible sometimes you find the odd game that great this game is one of those Great game play! Loved the movie from many years ago. Perfectly fitting the nostalgia from it's plot movie to game. Good stuff!

This is one of my favorite games on the PlayStation 2 and I'm so glad to revisit this game. Lukie games had a clean brand new copy. Thank you lukie games!!

1970s Gangs Beat'em Up. What you would expect from Rockstar. A lot of cussing and a lot of fighting. Do not expect more story than that unless you liked the movie and want to know more of a back story to the gang of the Warriors. I bought it and was not dissapointed.
