World Series Baseball 2K2

I've always heard bad things about this Baseball game. But the World Series baseball franchise just oozed quality, it's a shame they're not still around. At the time of this release there had been ten years of World Series baseball games each showcasing the system they were on and this one is no different. The graphics are gorgeous! The Dreamcast has aged incredibly well and the controls are simple and intuitive. All the modes are here; franchise, season, fantasy draft or just quick game. Hitting is great, it took me less than six pitches to adjust to the timing. The pitching seems slow; I thought I was throwing Eephus' when they were actually 90MPH Fastballs--so that might be a turn-off for some but it's all relative and I appreciated being able to get Hits and on base when I first tried to play. I own some baseball games where I still can't get a hit like MLB Slugfest. The copy Lukie sent me was dysfunctional for some reason; it looked immaculate with not one scratch but they sent me a replacement FAST. I had a working copy in two days (And I live in the opposite corner of the Country!) and the second copy was MINT. It even came with the registry card! Would buy again

Doesn't hit the same heights as the NFL and NBA 2K games on the platform, but there's definitely still fun to be had. A cool time capsule to baseball games of the era.
