This is one of the strangest games iv ever played. You have the choice to play as 3 "Mechs" that can be switched out at any time during gameplay. It's your typical side scrolling shooter. All 3 "Mechs" are different and each have their own unique attributes. They can be powered up by gaining experience just like an rpg, and they do become very powerful. The controls are responsive enough and the gameplay itself is decent. The big problem is the graphics and sound. This game looks depressing. The monsters and aliens look downright weird and the colors are extremely bland, it looks like a late generation NES game. The sound effects and music are mediocre at best. The game has a battery save feature so that's a plus. All in all it's not a horrible game but it's nothing to jump up and down about. It has allot going for but I feel the developers just didn't execute it very well.
