Zero Tolerance

As others have said, it can leave some things to be desired. When you consider the age and hardware though, this game is interesting. It's pretty easy to have some fun shooting around at people. The screen is used up cleverly with a map and information. There's not many games like this on the genesis and is worth the look.

Well there are better shooters out there, I have to admit that I like this a lot more than its contemporaries on the SNES and Genesis (not that there were many). However, I'm not going to compare it to them. Visually, there game me leave some to be desired, but it stands out from the other games in the genre at the time, and despite the method of control, the gameplay is still pretty solid. The audio also isn't bad, either. I love the firing sound of the shotgun. If you have an open mind and a Sega Genesis (or SNES with RetroGen adapter), I'd actually strongly recommend giving this game a go, especially now when it's on sale.

If I said that this is an awesome first person shooter, I'd be a liar. Only about 35 to 40 percent of the screen is used. Even Wolfenstein 3D for the SNES is better than this game and the SNES Wolfenstein isn't very good. One good thing about Zero Tolerance is that it has plenty of levels. If the only game system that you have is the Sega Genesis, this might make you a decent FPS. But if you have a better system like the Playstation or XBOX, don't buy Zero Tolerance.

I bought two copies of this game because its the only game that works by system linking two genesis together. Not a great game but its cheap and a unique multiplayer experience.
