Zone of Enders

So this game is pretty good, and I thoroughly enjoy what I've played so far. HOWEVER, the game is subject this obnoxious saving glitch that is apparently a universal problem with the original PS2 version. The save data will still appear in your memory card, but all the save files will appear empty. It's the most obnoxious inexcusable oversight I've bore witness to when it comes to games in a long time. Allegedly setting the clock on your PS2's system configuration settings will resolve the issue but I've yet to see proof of that, having tried it myself. So great game, pretty fun thus far. But Konami seriously had their thumbs jammed up their rear ends to overlook something this detrimental to the ability to save the game. The 3 stars aren't for Lukie Games, they're for the "quality" of the product. I knocked a couple points off because no one should have to jump through all these hoops just to get the game to function like it was meant to.

This game doesn't have great reviews but imho it's incredibly underated and reached the wrong audience when it first came out. It's action packed with amazing graphics and a kick ass combat system, story is fairly entertaining and reslly pulls you in. Only cons I have is being a traditional Japanese title X and O are swapped and the controls are definitely a learning curve but it's like riding a bike

Growing up, this was one of my favorite games ever. I loved the story, gameplay, and everything else about it. But I never owned the MGS2 Demo, and now I own that so that is awesome too. MGS2 is one of my favorites as well, so getting the demo was amazing. But playing ZoE again, after many years, was amazing. Re-experiencing this amazing game was perfect. It is a short game but it is still an incredible experience the whole way through.

All you need to know is that Hideo Kojima (of Metal Gear Solid fame) made this game and that it features giant, fighting robots. The control takes some getting used to, but is very responsive.
