my first intro to blazeblue
same company that made guilty gear. graphics are nice. gamplay felt smooth. the story mode is mostly reading and motioncomicbook-esc. as i learned by a youtube review this story mode is 90% reading and 10% fighting. classic arcade mode for each character in which ive only completed one so far. you have the option to change the voices from English to Japanese which was cool. from what ive experienced the story mode wasnt bad. i was just so surprised i didn't get to play much...so far...at all in the storymode. 28 total characters in this final iteration of this particular game. all dlc and such. if your not into fighters and need more content then just unlockable movies, character models, character info/biography. you might want to skip this type of game. $21 isnt bad for the content you get. as ive heard the storymode has 20 hours or it depends on fast you can read. the arcade mode has voice work before fights but it wont be before every fight. as ive stated before, ive only completed one character arcade mode so far. if you are into fighters and dont play online much like me, you have enough content as far as the arcade mode is concerned. the story mode on the other hand. alot of pressing "a" after a character speaks. if your into motion comics with slightly animated character voice work. you might not have a problem with the single player offline options in a fighting game. so far im enjoying this purchase.
