Code Name Steam

This game is a turn-based strategy game. Planning a stealthy shot at an enemy in the game is fun. Annoyingly, tactical decisions aren’t enough. Code Name STEAM is a game where any shot aimed at certain enemies can miss them. If these enemies aren’t shot, they can stun any playable character in the game. If any playable character in the game is stunned, the characters cannot shoot stealthily.

I think this game gets avoided because it was the Walmart $2 clearance game for a while. It was a commercial flop. However, Intelligent Systems and Nintendo were on to something good here! The best I can describe it is like a mash of Future Tactics and XCOM. It is a little childish, and the objectives are typically pretty simple (get to the other side), but it can put SRPG fans in their place assuming it is too easy. For a cheap game, it is a lot of bang for the $$$

This game shipped to me like a brand new copy. It didn't look like a used copy at all. A fun turn-based strategy game. If you like Valcuria Chronicles gameplay, you'll like this game.
