Crash Nitro Kart

Despite it being a Mario kart clone and having a really long intro when you boot up the game, it’s still fun to play. I find it funny that the characters have lines of dialog, which is unique from Mario kart, setting itself as a different title. However the gameplay does get slightly boring. I find it difficult to drift occasionally, and the AI is very difficult. It’s a fun racing game, and I’m sure that it’s better with other players. Ultimately though, I’m only writing this review because of Xavier from Conyers, who left a bad review on this game saying that it has a lack of emotion and good graphics. Xavier, if you by some miracle read this, I would like to explain to you that retro games aren’t as good looking as modern video games. If you prefer graphical quality in a game, unlike most people here, then I would recommend you buy modern games, and don’t leave one star reviews on games just because of a low quality in visual fidelity on a 20 year old game. Playing this morning. I ordered this because I like CTR on the PS1. This is the same... but better graphics and more "track interaction". Love it.

This a fun game to play and you get the full value when you play with those close to you. A classic game that I will hold on to.

I received this game earlier than expected and that was great. The game was in great condition. I've really enjoyed playing this game. I will definitely order from lukie games from now on. I like them better than game stop.

Until now I've only had the the demo of this game years ago but this is a fun game I still like CTR better but there's plenty of fun to be had I'm happy with my purchase.

The Crash NitroKart game that i received works perfectly. Haven't played this game in 10 years and I have finally made a comeback with it.

This is a racing game with all the the guys that played in Bandticoot...It is so much fun playing to with the family..My daughter and husband I love this game...They play it for hours..Yes I'm still waiting for my turn to play my games..soon as I get to play them I will review them lukie...There are no scratches,plays great,I love Lukie games!! I'm a big fan of crash bandicoot games, I was born in 1990. My first game was crash bash,but this games is really cool. I just can't believe that Mario Kart 8 copied that game cause the zero gravity part. But still I still love lukiegames.com ??

Gets dull fast because of lack of power-ups,of emotion,and lack of good graphics.I also feel there us no point in having a "story" mode yo a racing game

I'd just like to preface this review by saying the original CTR is one of the best cart racing games ever made, better than Mario Kart in my opinion. Tight controls, great gameplay, simple objectives, it's just a classic game and always in my top 3. So when i saw Nitro Cart on Lukie Games after browsing for another similar game, i figured "this has to be way better than the original". Boy was i wrong, in part i think due to the fact that Naughty Dog didn't make this one. I put this in my PS2 and tried to play it, but ended up turning it off after about 30 minutes because the controls just felt so broken and slippery for a racing game. Like i said before, the original CTR is like the apex of cart racers for me, so trying to wrap my head around how Vicarious completely butchered the controls and gameplay is tough. They also tried to implement "teams" in this one, where you choose one character at the beginning and that determines which team you're on, which you can then switch between 3 characters before going into a race. It's an interesting concept, but kinda defeats the purpose of going back and playing the adventure mode again because you've essentially already done it with each of the main character stats. As for the story, it's...okay. I mean, it's basically CTR on another planet, which doesn't really bring anything new to the table. In the end, i would definitely and without hesitation recommend the original Crash Team Racing over this one. It's just night and day to me, CTR is clearly the superior game.

Works great, no hickups , decent quality and fun to play in spare time.
