Mindless Ocean
While it is not for everyone I have found this to be the best choice for me when I don't want loud in your face high energy games. You swim around discovering different types of sea life and explore new areas as you unlock different locations and functions of the game. You earn various sea critters (Orca, dolphin etc) that you can choose to escort you through levels and are also key to uncovering blocked areas of some locations. You are required to train them though if you want to progress further into other species and those locked areas. You get to build your own lagoon and the different items that you place in it determine what kind of fish show up. There is a shop where you buy and sell items and can customize your character further. The merchant also awards you with equipment not listed if you find certain items of interest. There is also an aquarium you can fill with discovered sea life and are allowed to dive and swim with them. The music is good and relaxing except for the tracks with the woman singing, they should have just stuck with instrumental stuff. With Endless Ocean I can just sit back with some beers, shut my brain off and play. Like I said it's not for everyone and don't expect some authentic diving experience filled with nerve jolting twists and turns. Theres a reason I call it Mindless Ocean.
