Keio Flying Squadron for Sega CD is a whimsical and highly stylized side-scrolling shoot-’em-up that combines classic arcade action with anime flair and a distinctly Japanese sense of humor. Players take on the role of Rami, a teenage girl in a bunny suit, who rides her loyal dragon Spot as they battle an army of bizarre enemies (including giant raccoons and mechanical bosses) across vibrant, fast-paced stages. The game features beautifully hand-drawn graphics, fully animated cutscenes, and a dynamic soundtrack that blends traditional Japanese instruments with energetic compositions. Known for its tight controls, escalating difficulty, and quirky storyline, Keio Flying Squadron stands out as one of the most charming and collectible titles in the Sega CD library.
