It is indeed "Extended"!

After lots of searching on the internet and even after a botched purchase from another seller who sent me a normal PSP 2000 / 3000 battery door. I am happy to say this battery door is indeed extended and will allow you to use PSP 1000 batteries with the PSP 2000 / 3000.
