beware

I love that it plays both nes and snes but they send 2 controllers that are both for snes and no controllers for nes. This game system also requires either a very, very old TV or an extra $30 give or take a few dollars to buy the extra things needed for newer TVs. The video quality isn't as clear as it should be either but after all that, it does play both.

Retron 2

Plays all my old nes cartridges perfectly and also games uploaded onto my super everdrive in the snes allround good console.will be trying the sd2nes cartridge once it arrives,looking forward to playing all games on my retron 2.

Works in a pinch...

This is pretty cheaply made, but in a pinch and for the price, it works great. It's been a blast playing some of these old games...which I also bought here at Lukie. I've not had any trouble with anything I've bought here & I've bought quite a bit in the last month and a half. PS1, PS2, and NES games and memory cards, everything has worked the way it's supposed to. This is a company I'll continue to do business with. Thanks, Lukie...

Works really great

It's a really good alternative if you can't get your hands on an original nes or snes. Works great with no problems and even comes with an S video cord that can plug into your tv and give you much better quality

Retron 2 system

I am very happy with my Retron 2 purchase. It plays all the games well and is everything all the reviews said it would be. The only negative aspect is that I found that the SNES game cartridges did not "snap" into place like they did in the original system. But, I worked around that and am happy, especially the decent price.
