It's Okay but...
It's a solid product but the issues need to be addressed. Yes the GBA part of this has been corrected and fixed, however the save files don't save to the cartridge. It saves to an included SD Card. While it does prevent corruption on the cartridge, it doesn't act like a Nintendo Switch where the same save file can be taken on the go. I feel like this could've been avoided had Hyperkin have more time to develop this console. Especially since the GameCube and recently, the Analog Pocket do it well. However it does run better than it did at launch. So if you have a game where you have already unlocked everything, then the Retron SQ isn't so bad. On the other end, I wouldn't bother playing a GBA Pokémon game on it as the save is locked on the SD Card. So while good, it could've been so much better.
